Welcome to my blog about staying at the Okura Tokyo in Japan! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel and I can’t wait to share my experience with you. From the exceptional service to the stunning views, the Okura Tokyo is truly a standout hotel.

Okura Tokyo is situated in the heart of Tokyo and is easily accessible from both Haneda and Narita airports. The hotel provides several transportation options for guests to choose from.


Ways of getting to Okura Hotel from Tokyo airports include:


  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available at both Haneda and Narita airports. However, they can be quite expensive, particularly during peak hours.

  • Limousine bus: The hotel provides a complimentary limousine bus service from Haneda airport. Guests can take the bus from the airport to the hotel directly. Alternatively, guests can take the limousine bus from Narita airport to Tokyo Station and then transfer to a taxi or train to get to the hotel.

  • Train: Guests can take the Tokyo Monorail or Keikyu Line from Haneda airport to Shinagawa Station, and then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to get to the hotel. From Narita airport, guests can take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station and then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to get to the hotel.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of residing in the Okura Prestige Tower room. Spanning over 500 square feet, the room boasts a comfortable king bed and a shower/tub combination that is truly exceptional.


Situated on the 28th-33rd floors, the Prestige rooms offer breathtaking views of Tokyo’s tower and cityscape through large windows.




For the convenience of guests, the hotel features a digital key, fully stocked mini bar with drinks and tea, digital thermostat, and two plush robes and slippers.


Whether you’re a solo traveler or a couple, this hotel is the perfect choice for your stay.


Additionally, its prime location near a nearby metro station and a 7-11 store within walking distance make it even more appealing.


You can dine at any of the several on site dining locations, the hotel can assist you with currency conversion on site, and there is a pool and spa available too.


As part of my reservation, I decided to include breakfast and ordered it through room service.


The spread was nothing short of impressive, featuring a variety of delectable options such as fresh-squeezed orange juice, green tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, and fruits and vegetables.


The breakfast was well-balanced, and to my delight, they also provided the Japan local newspaper – a thoughtful touch.
